Program Description:
Program Highlights
  • Location: Arezzo, a small town located in Italy's region of Tuscany, has a population of around 100,000. It is about 80 km (50 miles) south-east of Florence, set atop a steep hill rising above the Arno River.
  • Excursions: Florence and Rome
  • Dates: Tuesday, May 14, 2024 - Wednesday, June 11, 2024

Academics
Courses (Must be enrolled in 6 hours for summer):
  • EDSP 3053 Understanding and Accommodating Exceptional Learners - Dr. Emily Kuntz
  • ILAC 4003 Partnerships: Working with Parents & Community - Dr. Aiyana Henry, Associate Dean
Program requirements:
  • Education major or seeking teacher certification
  • Admitted to the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education
  • Passport (valid through six months after return from study abroad)
  • Completion of Online Application + meeting with liaison
